Pending Activity and Prices Rise Housing data released by MIBOR today shows essentially flat closed sales activity in September with a double digit increase pending sales and steady upward movement in median and average sales prices. Closed sales rose just 0.4 percent in September compared to September 2014, but are up 6.3 percent in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the third quarter one year ago. Pending sales increased 14.7 percent in the monthly comparison of September 2015 to the same period last year. In the quarter ending in September, pending sales rose 9.9 percent
National Market Review: September Closed Sales Rebound According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) September data release, existing home sales rose 4.7 percent in September. Median sales price was $221,900, which is 6.1 percent higher than September one year ago. Available inventory is 3.1 percent lower than last September.
